Nicole Stokes

" I am a mother of two boys, from Torbay, NL. I became a licensed Aesthetician in 2008 after graduating and receiving "Instructor Choice Award” at Woodford Training Center. I am also a certified Lash Technician, and I am in the process of becoming an Aveda mentor. At this point in my career, I’m so proud and honored to announce I've entered into the side of Medical Aesthetics, and am a certified Sharplight Laser Technician, which has always been something I've strived for and wanted.

Once I entered the doors at Woodford Training Center, I put my all into becoming a talented and dedicated Aesthetician. That year, after hard work and passionate hours, I won Gold in Skills Newfoundland and Labrador. Winning that, earned me the place to represent our province and the Aesthetics’ Industry at Skills Canada, where I took home bronze.  I also placed 2nd at our schools annual makeup competition.

I fell in love with the industry the very first time I treated a guest. I felt so humbled and proud the moment my Guest expressed her appreciation. That day, I knew I belonged in a Spa!  I attend any type of training or session I can, to keep me educated and up to date with what is going on in this beautiful industry I adore so much.  I'm always expanding my knowledge as a professional.

Medical Aesthetics was something I always wanted to be a part of.  Being able to say that “I, Nicole Stokes, am a Laser Technician", brings me unbelievable joy. It is truly an indescribable feeling. The moment I saw the Omni Max platform, I fell in love, it was like love at first sight.  My motto is passion!  If you have the passion the sky is your limit.."
